Boys High School
Pre-Season Tournament February 6-8, 2009

Quail Hollow Swim and Tennis Club is hosting a Pre-Season Tennis Tournament for boys who plan to try out for their high school team. Entry deadline is February 2nd! Registration Form

USTA Spring Adult/Senior League

Two Captain's Meetings will be held on Monday, January 12th.

1pm at the Millbrook Community Center

and

7pm in the Conference Room at Millbrook Tennis Center.

Not afraid of the cold and want to be active this Winter? Join us at three RDUTennis locations around the Triangle.

We are opening programming at Heritage Hills Rec Club in Chapel Hill, Five Oaks Club in Durham, and Heritage Golf Club in Wake Forest.

All Clinics will be held from 11:30am-2:30pm to avoid extreme cold conditions. Pricing is $50 Members/$70 Non-Members at all 3 facilties.

USTA Recruitment Night

If you are interested in playing USTA tennis this spring or need information on how to get involved in any of our USTA leagues, come to the Recruitment Night, Tuesday, January 6th at 6pm.

The meeting will be held at Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center in the conference room.

2008 NC Tennis Annual Awards

Congratulations to the Raleigh recipients of the 2008 NC Tennis Awards!! The Annual Awards Luncheon, which recognizes the recipients in front of their nominators and peers, will be held during the NC Tennis Association’s 2009 Tennis Weekend. The Luncheon will be held in the Pinehurst Resort’s Carolina Hotel at 12 noon on Saturday, January 31, 2009.

City of Raleigh Winter Programs

The City of Raleigh offers tennis programs for Adults and Juniors. Clinics, Tennis Ladders, Cardio Tennis, Ladies Quads, and Free Play for Seniors are just a few of the great tennis activities available this summer. Clinics times are offered throughout the year for your convenience.

Recreational QuickStart Tennis Training Workshop

Saturday, January 10th, 2009 ~ NCSU's J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center

Raleigh will host a 3 hour interactive on-court workshop for beginning tennis teachers, recreational coaches, parent coaches and volunteers who will be working with 10 and under beginners, especially in a team tennis setting. The workshop gives an overview of the QuickStart Tennis format and the QuickStart Tennis Practice plans. This workshop is about helping children learn and develop the skills necessary to play tennis.

Frostbite Doubles Tournament Champions
The City of Raleigh hosted the annual Frostbite Doubles Tournament, for Adults and Juniors, December 12th-14th. Congratulations to all the winners!
