What are the dates of the USTA Program suspension?

As of March 13th, the suspension of USTA programs will be through May 3rd. Click here for their full statement.

What USTA programs are affected in the Capital area?

Adult and youth leagues/tournaments (including RTA Spring Mixed Sip N’ Serve), 30 and Under League, Jr. Team Tennis, and Try Tennis programs. The same updates hold true for all.

When will we know the status of the USTA Adult Spring League?

We are in communications with USTA-North Carolina and they expect to get details from USTA National this week or next.

Can you play a league match that is scheduled during the suspension time and have it count?

We were specifically told by USTA -NC that any scores entered for matches scheduled during the suspension period will be deleted and will not stand.

Are you allowed to use previously booked courts for league play at facilities?

The courts were specifically booked for league play but this is a facility question so please contact them directly.  Please note that facilities across our area are opting to close.

Are there going to be refunds for Adult Spring League?

Our league is suspended, not cancelled so we will not be granting refund requests at this time.  This is an unprecedented situation and as we focus on the safety of our players and evaluate the best course of action for our league with USTA National, we ask for your patience until we have more information to provide.

What is the plan for Summer Leagues registration?

We are putting registration for summer leagues (Mixed, Tri-Level, Singles) on hold for now.   As things are still changing and we need to get information on Spring leagues,  we will provide information on summer league registration in the weeks to come.

What is the status of programs like Abilities Tennis, Wheelchair Clinics and Tennis for Life?

For now, these programs are canceled until further notice.  In the next week or so, we hope to give more definitive dates of re-starting clinics for this programs.
