Tennis Community Update

It's hard to believe that spring is just around the corner! Especially when I look out my window and all I see is snow!

As soon as this all melts, we have many exciting plans for this upcoming year.

On the Junior side, we are looking forward to our first SMASH and QuickStart spring season.  We had a great turnout for the fall and look forward to growing the tennis teams even larger this spring.

The RTA hosted a QuickStart Workshop in January with the Western Wake Tennis Association. We had record number of pro's,teachers and parent volunteers attend this year.  As we push to get QuickStart in the elementary schools in Raleigh, we are finding more and more teachers that are excited about adding QuickStart to their curriculum.  For anyone who is interested in the adopt a school program, please contact me for more information.

We are having our first annual volunteer committee meeting this month.  We have over  20 dedicated volunteers that have joined our team to help play an active role in our tennis community.   We will be discussing our upcoming events that include, The First Annual The RTA Club Cup Challenge, Adult Leagues and Socials, QuickStart School events, and more.
