USTA Mixed Doubles
* Due to COVID-19, Raleigh was not able to host USTA Mixed Doubles in the summer of 2020. We hope to be back on court with you next year.
The USTA Mixed Doubles League allows men and women to play together on a team, even if there is a small difference between their levels of play. Flights are organized based on combined ratings of the players and teams play three courts of doubles.
The combined NTRP level of each doubles pair cannot exceed the team level. For instance, a 3.5 man and a 4.5 woman can play at the 8.0 level since their combined rating is 8.0. Be aware that the maximum difference in player ratings for any doubles pair is 1.0. That means that a 3.0 player may play with a 4.0 player but not a 4.5 player.
Age Groups Offered
All players must be at least 18 to play in an adult league. A player may play in multiple age groups as long as he/she will turn the minimum age during the calendar year.
18 & over
40 & over
55 & over
65 & over
All players participating in USTA Leagues are required to join the USTA. A league fee of $22 also applies which includes a $3 Tennislink fee. City teams will have court fees of $30 per match. Click here (link to “About USTA Leagues” page) for more information about USTA Leagues and NTRP Ratings.
If you are registering as a club team, it is your responsibility to notify your club pro that you plan to have a team prior to registering on TennisLink! This will ensure that your club can guarantee home courts for your matches.
