For All Things Tennis in Raleigh

Through a variety of programs, teaching and learning tools, Net Generation is looking to capture the imaginations of kids of all backgrounds and skill levels - bringing together a national community of parents, coaches, players, teachers, and volunteers. 

RTA’s President Bill Edwards and Executive Director Julie Dick presented a check to Ken Hisler, Assistant Director for Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources, at the December 4th Raleigh City Council meeting.

Need help finding a team or a player? Captains can add players to their team long after the season starts! Good for players new to the Raleigh area and captains looking to fill teams.

2020 Spring League change 40 & Over format


It's time to start making your tennis plans for Winter! Team Registration for the 2019 RTA Winter League opens September 21st. Play will begin the first week of November and run through January with breaks for Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Divisions 2.0, 2.5. 3.0 3.5 4.0 and 4.5. Format is 1 court of singles and 2 courts of doubles. 



USTA National and USTA Southern have recently voted to change the format at the 40 & Over National and Sectional Championships to 1 singles, 3 doubles beginning in the Spring of 2020. NC will follow this format for our State Championships
