2024 USTA Summer Tri-Level League

USTA Summer Tri-Level League enables you to play on a team with friends of different NTRP levels! Leagues are available for players with NTRP ratings from 2.5 to 5.0. Your play during tri-level (along with adult spring season) determines your NTRP rating for the following year. Matches will begin no earlier than May 20 and run through July. Teams compete locally to progress to state and sectional championships.

Each match consists of three courts of doubles. Teams must have a minimum of six (with at least two at each NTRP level of the league, e.g., two 3.5s, two 4.0s, and two 4.5s for a 4.5/4/0/3.5 team) and no more than fifteen players on their roster. Players may only play up one level in a match (e.g., a 3.5 may play on the 4.0 but not the 4.5 line).

Please note that players may only play on one team per NTRP and age level. For instance, a 2.5 woman may play on a 3.5/3.0/2.5 weekday or evening team, but not both. She may additionally play on a 55 & Over 3.5/3.0/2.5 team if she is old enough.

  • Any team using Raleigh city courts as their home team will pay court fees directly to Raleigh Parks and Recreation for their home matches. Courts are billed at $10 per court per match. Invoices are sent to the team captains who will in turn collect fees from their team members.

  • The league coordinator will reserve courts for any team using Raleigh city courts for their home matches. Club players will secure courts through their respective clubs. All teams must have enough courts for equal home and away matches.

  • The USTA league fee is $25 per player per team. In addition, the USTA annual membership fee is $44.
