Beautiful weather arrived just in time for the King of the Court Pro-Am Fundraiser held at the North Hills Club on the evening of Friday, June 4th. One hundred and seventy-five guests came out to honor beloved Raleigh native and Raleigh Tennis legend, Cy King for his remarkable 50 years of service. The night was hosted and sponsored by the North Hills Club along with these wonderful community sponsors: Raleigh Racquet Club, Bryan's Tennis, Wake Med, Wake Ortho, Swing Racquet + Paddle, Omega Sports, Wegmans, Smart Athlete Physiotherapy, and Find the Gem Coaching. Guests dined and enjoyed a fun-filled night of incredible, non-stop tennis. The action of the Pro-Am featured both area high-level tennis players and amateur players competing together.

Proceeds for the event went towards the Cy King Community Tennis Fund which will provide grants for local youth non-profit tennis programs targeted at underserved areas of Raleigh and small application-based scholarships to college-bound seniors.
The Raleigh Tennis Association announced $18,418.00 was raised for the Cy King Community Tennis Fund.
