The Raleigh Tennis Association is excited to announce that we're now accepting nominations for our Try Tennis Community Outreach Program in partnership with Swing Racquet + Paddle.
The RTA is looking for families that could benefit from having access to tennis that might not otherwise have access to tennis equipment or courts. Each family that is selected will receive a Try Tennis Toolkit that contains a mini pop-up net, two adult-sized racquets, two youth-sized racquets and tennis balls.
The Try Tennis Toolkit can bring joy, physical activity, bonding opportunities, and even a little family competition to those that might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience tennis.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, September 11th at noon. The RTA Serves Committee and representatives from Swing Racquet + Paddle will review each nomination and, based on the total number received, up to 15 families will be selected.
To nominate a family, please fill out this form and provide details about why you think they could benefit from a Try Tennis Toolkit. Self-nominations will be accepted.
