On September 15, Raleigh Tennis Association and Swing Racquet + Paddle hosted the RTA Try Tennis Program Community Outreach Day at the Communities in Schools of Wake County ("CIS") Learning Center. Together, RTA and Swing distributed 31 Try Tennis at Home Toolkits to families from the CIS, Raleigh Housing Authority, and InterAct programs.
Each kits include a 10-inch pop-up net, two adult racquets, two junior racquets, three packs of tennis balls, a pocket scorecard, and links to online tips, games, and other resources. The Try Tennis at Home Toolkits were created to engage families and individuals who have not had the opportunity to play tennis before and to bring tennis to the entire community.
