We're excited to announce that USTA North Carolina is hosting its North Carolina Leagues State Championships in 2021! Please see the chart below for the dates and locations of this year's championships.
In an effort to keep players, volunteers, and staff as safe as possible, various safety protocols will be implemented. In addition to holding staggering match times, teams will be asked to leave the match site as soon as their team match is concluded. Individuals will also be required to wear masks when appropriate and keep a safe distance from other teams. With these safety measures and other planned changes, USTA North Carolina believes it can successfully run state championship events. However, individual players should assess their risk before deciding to participate in the championships.
Despite the plan to run state championships, if local or state government mandates prevent us from running the tournament, new dates or locations will be considered. For now, the plan is to run the tournaments at the dates and locations listed in the chart below.
The player parties will take on a new format to keep people as safe as possible.
