Friday evening, June 10th, 2022, at North Hills Club was absolutely beautiful: clear blue skies with a lively breeze. The perfect weather for our pro-am matchups for our 2nd Annual Cy King Pro-Am Fundraiser!
We were absolutely thrilled with the huge crowd that came out to enjoy the abundance of delicious food and excellent drinks that were provided by some of our sponsors, including; Honey Bear Catering Concessions & Catering, Trophy Brewing Company,Ponysaurus Brewing,NoDa Brewing Company, and Lynnwood Brewing Concern. Excitement was high among the guests as they mingled, laughed, and dined while waiting for the tennis matchups to begin. Families and friends enjoyed the spacious and comfortable grounds of the North Hills club before settling in for the riveting and fun-filled night of tennis.
The main action of the Pro-Am centered around the tennis matchups: including our 24 incredible professional tennis players that gave of their time and expertise to join us, and our 24 spunky and dedicated area amateur players. The teams were well matched and the doubles sets were fast paced and exhilarating!

Local tennis legend, and namesake of the tournament, Cy King was on hand to thank the crowd and enjoy the pro-am tournament.
The night was hosted and sponsored by the North Hills Club along with these wonderful community sponsors: North Hills Club, USTA Foundation, Wake Orthopaedics, Swing Racquet + Paddle, Pursuit Wealth Strategies, Bryan's Tennis, Omega Sports, Smart Athlete Physiotherapy, Second Serve, Adult Tennis Stories - Podcast, as well as our other sponsors that we mentioned above that provided the incredible food!
The event also featured a clinic, led by North Hills Club and Ebony Racquet Club. Coaches for over 50 students from Ebony Racquet Club and the Boys and Girls Club was provided as a part of our commitment to impact students through tennis and education.
We would like to thank all our volunteers who put in countless hours to make the event such a smashing success!
We are incredibly excited to announce that the proceeds from the event total $42,000!
